Sharnie has always had a fascination with people and the psychology of what makes people behave the way that they do.
Sharnie started a healing journey, which taught her a lot about healing and emotions, releasing and healing in not just the mind but within the body, this teaching also taught her about the psycho somatic manifestations in the body.
Sharnie has many years experience working in the mental health sector; including suicide prevention, inpatient units and community mental health. She learnt a lot through undertaking a variety of clinical trainings while working those roles.
She completed her counselling qualification at ACAP University and upon graduation, she has been working as a counsellor; specializing in addiction, childhood trauma, suicidal ideation & relationship issues. Sharnie has an interest in alternative therapies for treating trauma and addiction and work in pre and post integration of plant medicine.
She is currently a student of Compassionate Inquiry with Dr Gabor Mate.
She is registered through the Australian Counselling Association - reg no: 23294
